तोते की कहानी

तोते की कहानी

एक तोता बड़े लम्बे समय से पिंजरे में रह कर तंग आ चुका था। वह खुले आसमान में अकेले उड़ना चाहता था। बहुत कोशिशों के बाद तोता पिंजरे से बाहर निकालकर जंगल में आ गाया। 

तोते को जंगल का वातावरण बहुत पसंद आया। तोता हर रोज़ हर पसंद का मीठा फल खाता था। वह ख़ुशी से जैसे उसका मन चाहता वैसे जंगल में चारों ओर उड़ता था। वह अपना जीवन बहुत ख़ुशी से बिताने लगा।

एक दिन तोते को पेड़ के नीचे बड़ा सा हाथी दिखा जो सो रहा था। उसे ऐसे सोता देख तोते के मन में एक उपाय आया। वह उस हाथी को नींद से जगाना चाहता था। तोता बहुत तेज़ी से पेड़ के ऊपर से नीचे आया और हाथी की सूँड़ पर ज़ोर से चोंच मारी।

इसकी वजह से हाथी उठ गया और तोता फटाफट पेड़ पर जाकर चढ़ गया। फिर वह ज़ोर- ज़ोर से हंसने लगा। हाथी ने नाराज़ होकर कहा, ” ऐ तोते, तुम्हें क्या परेशानी है?”

तोते ने जवाब दिया कि यह एक मज़ाक़ है और फिर हंसने लगा। हाथी को कुछ फरक नहीं पड़ा और वह आँखें बंद कर फिरसे सो गया। कुछ देर बाद तोता फिर से नीचे हाथी के  पास जाकर दुबारा उसको परेशान करने लगा और तुरंत वहाँ से उठकर पेड़ के ऊपर चला गया। 

हाथी ग़ुस्से से चिल्लाया, “अरे तू! फिर से आ गया, क्या कोई काम नहीं है?” लेकिन तोते को यह देख कर बहुत मज़ा आ रहा था। वह बार- बार ऐसी शरारत करता रहा और आखिर में तंग आकर हाथी वहाँ से उठकर चला गया। जाते- जाते उसने सोचा कि इस तोते को कैसे भी सबक़ सिखाना पड़ेगा।

फिर हाथी तालाब के पास गया अपने सर को छोड़ कर बाक़ी सारा शरीर पानी में डूबा दिया। यह देखकर तोते को बहुत मज़ा और उसने सोचा कि हाथी उससे डरकर खुद को पानी के अंदर छुपा रहा है। तोता फिर जाकर हाथी के ऊपर बैठ गया। वह दोबारा हाथी पर चोंच मारने की सोच रहा था पर हाथी को पहले से ही पता था कि तोता उसे तंग करने आएगा। इसलिए उसने पहले ही ऊनी सूंड के अंदर पानी भर  रखा था।

तोता हाथी को अपनी चोंच मारने ही वाला था की हाथी ने एक झटके में उसके मुँह पर सारा पानी फेंक दिया जो उसने अपनी सूंड में इकट्ठा करके रखा था। तोते को पानी बहुत ज़ोर से लगा और वह तालाब में गिर गया। फिर तोता अपनी जान बचाने के लिए तड़पने लगा।

हाथी को तोते पर दया आ गयी तो उसने तोते को पानी से निकालकर ज़मीन पर फेंक दिया। फिर तोते ने हाथी से क्षमा मांगी। तोते को बहुत अच्छा सबक़ मिला और अबकीबार हाथी ज़ोर- ज़ोर से हँस कर वहां से चला गया।

Ek tota bade lambe samay se pinjare mein rah kar tang aa chuka tha. Vah khule aasamaan mein akele udana chaahata tha. Bahut koshishon ke baad tota pinjare se baahar nikaalakar jangal mein aa gaaya. 

Tote ko jangal ka vaataavaran bahut pasand aaya. Tota har roz har pasand ka meetha phal khaata tha. Vah khushee se jaise usaka man chaahata vaise jangal mein chaaron or udata tha. Vah apana jeevan bahut khushee se bitaane laga. 

Ek din tote ko ped ke neeche bada sa haathee dikha jo so raha tha. Use aise sota dekh tote ke man mein ek upaay aaya. Vah us haathee ko neend se jagaana chaahata tha. Tota bahut tezee se ped ke oopar se neeche aaya aur haathee kee soond par zor se chonch maaree. 

Isakee vajah se haathee uth gaya aur tota phataaphat ped par jaakar chadh gaya. Phir vah zor- zor se hansane laga. Haathee ne naaraaz hokar kaha, ” ai tote, tumhen kya pareshaanee hai?” 

tote ne javaab diya ki yah ek mazaaq hai aur phir hansane laga. Haathee ko kuchh pharak nahin pada aur vah aankhen band kar phirase so gaya. Kuchh der baad tota phir se neeche haathee ke paas jaakar dubaara usako pareshaan karane laga aur turant vahaan se uthakar ped ke oopar chala gaya. 

Haathee gusse se chillaaya, “are too! Phir se aa gaya, kya koee kaam nahin hai?” lekin tote ko yah dekh kar bahut maza aa raha tha. Vah baar- baar aisee sharaarat karata raha aur aakhir mein tang aakar haathee vahaan se uthakar chala gaya. Jaate- jaate usane socha ki is tote ko kaise bhee sabaq sikhaana padega. 

Phir haathee taalaab ke paas gaya apane sar ko chhod kar baaqee saara shareer paanee mein dooba diya. Yah dekhakar tote ko bahut maza aur usane socha ki haathee usase darakar khud ko paanee ke andar chhupa raha hai. Tota phir jaakar haathee ke oopar baith gaya. Vah dobaara haathee par chonch maarane kee soch raha tha par haathee ko pahale se hee pata tha ki tota use tang karane aaega. Isalie usane pahale hee oonee soond ke andar paanee bhar rakha tha. 

Tota haathee ko apanee chonch maarane hee vaala tha kee haathee ne ek jhatake mein usake munh par saara paanee phenk diya jo usane apanee soond mein ikattha karake rakha tha. Tote ko paanee bahut zor se laga aur vah taalaab mein gir gaya. Phir tota apanee jaan bachaane ke lie tadapane laga. 

Haathee ko tote par daya aa gayee to usane tote ko paanee se nikaalakar zameen par phenk diya. Phir tote ne haathee se kshama maangee. Tote ko bahut achchha sabaq mila aur abakeebaar haathee zor- zor se hans kar vahaan se chala gaya.

A parrot was fed up living in a cage for a long time. He wanted to fly alone in the open sky. After much effort, the parrot came out of the cage and came into the forest.

The parrot liked the atmosphere of the forest very much. The parrot used to eat sweet fruits of every choice every day. He happily flew around in the forest as his heart wanted. He started living his life very happily.

One day the parrot saw a big elephant under the tree which was sleeping. Seeing him sleeping like this, a solution came in the mind of the parrot. He wanted to wake the elephant from its sleep. The parrot came down from the top of the tree very quickly and pecked hard on the trunk of the elephant.

Because of this the elephant got up and the parrot quickly climbed the tree. Then he started laughing out loud. The elephant said angrily, “O parrot, what is the problem with you?”

The parrot replied that it was a joke and then started laughing. The elephant did not mind and closed its eyes and fell asleep again. After sometime the parrot again went down to the elephant and started troubling him again and immediately got up from there and went on top of the tree.

The elephant cried out angrily, “Hey you! You have come again, isn’t there any work?” But the parrot was having a lot of fun seeing this. He kept on doing such mischief again and again and in the end the elephant got fed up and left. By the way, he thought that how would this parrot have to be taught a lesson.

Then the elephant went to the pond and immersed the rest of the body in the water except its head. Seeing this, the parrot was very happy and thought that the elephant was hiding itself under the water in fear of him. The parrot then went and sat on top of the elephant. He was thinking of pecking the elephant again, but the elephant already knew that the parrot would come to harass him. So he had already filled the woolen trunk with water.

The parrot was about to hit the elephant with its beak when the elephant in one stroke threw all the water on its face that it had stored in its trunk. The parrot felt the water very hard and fell into the pond. Then the parrot started agonizing to save his life.

When the elephant took pity on the parrot, he took the parrot out of the water and threw it on the ground. Then the parrot apologized to the elephant. The parrot got a very good lesson and now the elephant went away laughing out loud.
