तीन छोटी परिया
एक बार की बात है बहुत दूर एक छोटे से शहर में तीन छोटी सी परिया रहती थी। उनके नाम था पिंक, वोईलेट और फ़्लॉरा। इन तीनो को परी माँ ने इंसानो के साथ रहने के लिए भेजा था ताकी वह सही मायने में परी बनना सीख पाए और वह घर चलाने के लिए फूलो की दुकान पर काम करती थी।
वो जादू से फूलो को बनाती थी और घर- घर जाके देती थी। सबको उनके फूल बहुत अच्छे लगते थे तीनो परिया बहुत ख़ुशमीज़ाज थी, ना ही उन्हें कोई शीकायत थी। वो चहाती थी परी माँ उनका ये काम देखे। एक दिन तीनो परिया काफ़ी देर तक सोई और वह जब उठी तो उनकी जादुई शक्ति भी ग़ायब हो चुकी थी। वो बहुत कोशिश करती लेकिन जादू नहीं हुआ और ना ही परी माँ उनके सवालों का जवाब दे रही थी।
वो तीनो बेहद परेशान हो गयी थी। अब उनहे सारा काम एक आम इंसान की तरह करना था क्यूँकि वो मान चुकी थी की उनकी जादुई शक्तियाँ खो चुकी हैं। काम पर भी देरी होने की वजह से डाँट पड़ी और सारा दिन आम इंसान की तरह काम किया और लोगों के घर फूल पहुँचाए। वह तीनो परिया थक गयी थी और उनके शरीर से पसीना टपक रहा था। उन्हें यह समझ आगया था कि कल तक वे तीनो कितनी ऐश की ज़िंदगी जी रही थी।
उसदिन उन्हें और भी चीज़ों का एहसास हुआ क्योंकि वो पहली बार अपने जादू की दुनिया से बाहर आयी थी। जब परियां बाहर निकली तो उन्होंने असली दुनिया देखी। लोगो का दुःख, ग़रीबी, शैतानी और उन्हें अहसास हुआ की मस्ती- मस्ती में उन्होंने इन सब पर ध्यान ही नहीं दिया।
वे बस अच्छा बनने में और ख़ुश करने में लगी रही। उनकी आँखों से आसूँ बहने लगे और वे तीनो ज़रूरतमनदों की मदद करने गयी। उस रात पारियों ने ज़्यादा बात नहीं कि वह तीनो अपनी अपनी सोच में गुम थी। उनमे बदलाव आ रहा था। यह सब देख कर परी माँ मुस्करा रही थी। अगले दिन से पारियों ने बहुत महनत की, पीछले दिन से भी ज़्यादा। इस तरह जो तीन लड़कियाँ जो परिया हुआ करती थी उनमें बदलाव आने लगा।
रोज़ वे महनत से काम करती और ज़रूरत मनदो की मदद करती। जैसे- जैसे वक़्त गुज़रा वह तीनो उदास रहने लगी। उन्हें लगने लगा इस दुनिया में इंसाफ़ नहीं हैं, उन्हें लगता है वो कोशिश तो करती हैं लेकिन लोगों का दर्द कम नहीं कर पा रही है जैसे कुछ ना कुछ कमी रह जाती है। उसी वक्त कमरे में एक तेज रोशनी हुई। उसी वक़्त वहाँ परी माँ आ गयी उनको देखकर तीनो परिया बहुत ख़ुश हुई।
तभी परी माँ ने उन्हें कहा कि तुम्हें अब पता चला की परी होने का मतलब क्या होता है। पहले तुम्हें लगता था की परी बनना मतलब जादू तो मैंने तुमहे सबक़ सीखने के लिए तुम्हारी शक्तियाँ छीनी थी। अब मैं उन्हें लौटाने से पहले तुम्हारे सवालों का जवाब देना चाहती हूँ। परी माँ ने कहा कि चाहे कितनी लोगों की मदद करो, हमेशा कमी रह ही जाएगी क्योंकि तुम्हारे मदद करने का तरीक़ा ग़लत है।
पारियों को कुछ समझ नहीं आया तभी परी माँ ने कहा परी होने का मतलब है मदद करना लेकिन ज़रूरी नहीं कि हमेशा दिया ही जाए। तुमने एक भिखारी को खाना दिया लेकिन वह चैन से नहीं सोएगा क्यूँकि उसे चिंता रहेगी अगले दिन के खाने की। बदमाश के साथ बदमाशी करने से दुनिया में एक की जगह दो बदमाश हो गए। लाचार माँ को दवाई दी और जब उसे किराए के लिए पैसे चाहिए होंगे तब तुम क्या करोगी। परी माँ उन्हें जो समझाने की कोशिश कर रही थी वो उन्हें समझ आ गया।
फिर वह पूछती है बताए परी माँ हम क्या करें। परी माँ ने कहा इंसान उम्मीद ओर ज़िंदा रेहते है। उन्हें वही दो जैसे किसी बच्चे के साथ वक़्त बिताकर जो उदास था। इस तरह तुम परी होने का फ़र्ज़ निभाओगी। जैसे भिखारी को कोई काम दिलाकर, बच्चे के अंदर हिम्मत बढ़ाके जिससे कोई उसे परेशान ना करे और परिया ऐसा ही करती गयी और सबका भला करती गयी।

तीन परियों की कहानी in english
Once upon a time there lived three little fairies in a small town far away. Their names were Pink, Violet and Flora. All three were sent by Pari Maa to live with humans so that she could learn to be a true fairy and she used to work in a flower shop to run the household.
She used to make flowers by magic and used to give them door to door. Everyone liked their flowers very much, the three pariyas were very happy, nor did they have any complaints. She wanted Pari Maa to see her work. One day all the three pariyas slept for a long time and when she woke up, their magical power had also vanished. She tried a lot but the magic did not happen and neither was Pari Maa answering her questions.
All three of them were very upset. Now she had to do all the work like a normal person because she had agreed that she had lost her magical powers. He was scolded for being late at work and worked like a common man throughout the day and delivered flowers to people’s homes. Those three angels were tired and sweat was dripping from their bodies. They had come to understand that till yesterday, the life of all three of them was living.
She realized more things that day as she came out of her magic world for the first time. When the fairies came out, they saw the real world. People’s sorrow, poverty, wickedness and they realized that they did not pay attention to all these in fun.
She just kept on being good and making her happy. Tears started flowing from their eyes and they all went to help the needy. The girls didn’t talk much that night and all three of them were lost in their own thinking. A change was coming in them. Seeing all this, Pari Maa was smiling. From the next day the shifts worked hard, even more than the previous day. In this way the three girls who used to be fairies started changing.
Every day she worked diligently and helped those in need. As time passed, all three of them started feeling sad. They started feeling that there is no justice in this world, they feel that they try but they are not able to reduce the pain of the people as if something is missing. At that moment there was a bright light in the room. At the same time, the angel mother came there, seeing her, the three pariyas were very happy.
Then Pari Ma told him that you now know what it means to be an angel. Earlier you used to think that becoming an angel means magic, so I took away your powers to teach you a lesson. Now I want to answer your questions before returning them. Pari Ma said that no matter how many people you help, there will always be a shortage because your way of helping is wrong.
