आलसी गधा

यह कहानी है एक व्यापारी की जो छोटे से गाँव में रहता था वो बाज़ार में अलग अलग तरह के समान बेचता और पैसे कमाता। उस व्यापारी के पास एक गधा था, वो समान की बोरी उसपे रख के लाता और बाज़ार में बेचता था। व्यापारी अपने गधे का बहुत ध्यान रखता था, वो जानता था गधा उसके व्यापार के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है।

वो अपने गधे को बहुत साफ़ और स्वस्थ रखता था। उसको बहुत बढ़िया खाना देता, गधा बहुत जवान और शक्तिशाली था। वो ढेर सारी बोरिया लेके बाज़ार चलता था। लेकिन गधा आलसी भी था। उसे काम करना बिल्कुल पसंद नहीं था। वह बैठना, खाना, आराम करना और सोना चाहता था। गधा सोचता कि मालिक उसे कभी छुट्टी नहीं देते गधे को छुट्टियाँ बहुत पसंद थी।

लेकिन गधे को यह नहीं पता था कि अगर एक दिन भी गधा छुट्टी लेगा तो व्यापारी को नुक़सान होगा और पैसे नहीं तो गधे को भी खाना नहीं। बाज़ार की माँग के हिसाब से व्यापारी अलग- अलग वस्तुए बेचता था जैसे डाल, अनाज, सब्ज़ियाँ, मसाले और फल भी। व्यापारी रोज़ गधे को लेके निकल पड़ता था, बाज़ार पहुँचने के लिए उन्हें एक नदी पार करनी पड़ती थी। 

व्यापारी बहुत सम्भाल के गधे को नदी पार करवाता था। एक दिन व्यापारी के एक दोस्त ने कहा बाज़ार में नमक की बहुत माँग है। उसने अपने दोस्त को शुक्रिया कहा और जल्द ही व्यापारी ने 12 बोरिया तैयार की बेचने के लिए। उसने 6 बोरिया गधे के उपर रखना शुरू किया। उसे लगा बोरिया बहुत भारी हैं इसलिए गधा चल भी नहीं पारा था। गधे को तकलीफ़ ना हो इसलिए उसने एक बोरी उतार दी। लेकिन फिर भी गधा आगे नहीं बड़ रहा था।

व्यापारी गधे की हालत समझता था, लेकिन उसे पता था गधा आलसी है। उसने एक छड़ी निकाली और गधे को मारा और गधा चल पड़ा। उस दिन व्यापारी की सारी नमक की बोरिया बिक गयी। व्यापारी ने रोज़ नमक बेचना शुरू कर दिया। गधा कभी 5 तो कभी 6 बोरिया लेता। वेसे तो गधा कभी शांत नहीं होता लेकिन घर जाते समय उसे बहुत सुकून मिलता।

व्यापारी की सारी नमक की बोरिया खतम हो गयी तो गधे को थोड़ा सुकून मिला, कुछ दिन बाद व्यापारी ने गधे के ऊपर 6 नमक की बोरिया लादी और चल पड़ा बाज़ार की ओर। जब वे नदी के पास पहुँचे तो उसने देखा कि नदी का पानी ज़ायदा था। तभी गधे का पैर फिसलता है और नीचे गिर जाता है।

व्यापारी ने जैसे तैसे गधे को ऊपर खींचा। गधा डरा हुआ और सदमे में था पर उसे कुछ महसूस हुआ। बोरिया अभी भी उसकी पीठ पे थी। पर उसका वजन कम हो गया था उसे लगा नदी में कोई जादुई शक्ति है। गधा ये नहीं जानता था कि पानी में गिरने से नमक पानी में घुल गया था। इसलिए उसे हल्का महसूस हो रहा था। क्यूँकि अब बोरियों में नमक नहीं था व्यापारी वापिस घर चला गया। 

गधे ने भर पेट खाना खाया और वह सो गया। वह बहुत ख़ुश था। अगले दिन फिर वही किया, बोरिया लादी और चल पड़ा। गधे ने वही किया दोबारा नदी में गिर गया और फिरसे नमक पानी में घुल गया और गधा ख़ुश हो गया। व्यापारी ने सोचा ये हुआ कैसे। उसने सोचा कही ये गधा जानबूझकर तो ये सब नहीं कर रहा।

यह बहुत आलसी जानवर है। में इसकी इतनी देख भाल करता हूँ और ये मेरा नुक़सान कर रहा है। इसे घर लेके जाता हूँ और इसे सबक़ सिखाता हूँ , गधे ने काम से बचने के लिए अच्छी तरकीब निकाली थी। अगली सुबह व्यापारी ने 8 बोरिया गधे की पीठ पे लादी गधे ने कोई शीकायत नहीं की, उसने सोचा 8 बोरिया लेकिन मुझे वजन महसूस नहीं हो रहा है। गधे ने सोचा क्या फ़रक पड़ता है कोन सा मैं बाज़ार जाने वाला हूँ। 

व्यापारी चुपचाप गधे को नदी के पास ले गया। गधा सोचता अब मेरा जादू दिखाने का समय आ गया है। नदी पार करते हुए गधा फिर फिसल गया और हमेशा की तरह उसी जगह पानी में बेठ गया। लेकिन इसबार व्यापारी ने गधे की बिल्कुल मदद नहीं की जैसे ही गधे ने उठने की कोशिश की वैसे ही उसकी पीठ पर उसे भारी वजन महसूस होने लगा। 

व्यापारी बहुत बुद्धिमान था, वो जानता था गधा फिरसे वही तरकीब करेगा इसलिए उसने इस बार नमक की जगह कपास  की बोरिया गधे के ऊपर लादी थी। जैसे ही गधा पानी में बेठगया, कपास ने पानी सोक लिया और वे भारी हो गयी। व्यापारी बहुत हंसा और उसने गधे से कहा अब एसे ही बाज़ार जाना है और वापिस घर भी आना है। गधा समझ गया नदी के पानी में कोई जादू नहीं है। 

अब उसे कपास को बाज़ार लेजा कर वापिस घर लाना था। उसके बाद से गधे ने कभी भी दोबारा पानी में गिरने की कोशिश नहीं की।

Lekin gadhe ko ye nahi pata tha ki agar ek din bhi gadha chutti lega to vyapari ko nuqsan hoga , or kese nahi toh gadhe ko bhi khana nahi a bazaar ke maang ke hisab se vyapari alag alag vastue bechta tha jaise daal , anaj , sabzian , masale aur fal bhi vyapari rose gadhe ko leke nickel padta tha bazar pahunchane ke liye unhen ek nadi par karni padti thi.

Vyapari bahut sambhaal k gadhe ko nadi par karvata ek din vyapari ke ek dost ne ki bazar mein namak ke bahut maang he usane apne dost ko shukriya kaha or jald hi vyapari ne b boria tyyar key bechne ke liye usane e boria gadhe ke upar rakhna shuru kiya use laga bahut bhari hogi he bori gadha chal bhi nahi para tha gadhe ko taklif na ho isliye usane ek bori utar do lekin fir bhi gadha aage nahi bad raha tha.

आलसी गधे ki kahani in english

This is the story of a merchant who lived in a small village selling different types of goods in the market and earning money. That merchant had a donkey, he used to bring a sack of goods on it and sell it in the market. The merchant took great care of his donkey, he knew that the donkey was very important for his business.

He used to keep his donkey very clean and healthy. Gives him very good food, the donkey was very young and powerful. He used to walk to the market with a lot of bags. But the donkey was lazy too. He didn’t like working at all. He wanted to sit, eat, rest and sleep. The donkey thought that the owner would never give him leave, the donkey loved the holidays.

But the donkey did not know that if the donkey takes a day off, then the merchant will suffer and if there is no money, then the donkey will not even eat. According to the demand of the market, the merchant used to sell different items such as pulses, grains, vegetables, spices and fruits. The merchant used to go out every day with a donkey, he had to cross a river to reach the market.

The merchant used to get the donkey to cross the river with great care. One day a friend of the merchant said that there is a lot of demand for salt in the market. He thanked his friend and soon the merchant prepared 12 bags to sell. He started placing 6 bags on the donkey. He felt that the sacks were very heavy, so the donkey could not even walk. He unloaded a sack so that the donkey did not suffer. But still the donkey was not moving forward.

The merchant understood the condition of the donkey, but he knew that the donkey was lazy. He took out a stick and hit the donkey and the donkey started walking. On that day all the salt sacks of the merchant were sold. The merchant started selling salt everyday. The donkey would sometimes take 5 and sometimes 6 bags. By the way, the donkey would never calm down, but on his way home, he would get a lot of relief.

When all the salt sacks of the merchant were exhausted, the donkey got some relief, after a few days the merchant loaded 6 salt bags on the donkey and started towards the market. When they reached near the river, he saw that the water in the river was good. Then the donkey’s foot slips and falls down.

The merchant somehow pulled the donkey up. The donkey was scared and in shock but he felt something. The sack was still on his back. But his weight was reduced, he felt that the river had some magical power. The donkey did not know that the salt had dissolved in the water after falling in the water. That’s why he felt lighter. Because now there was no salt in the sacks, the merchant went back home.

The donkey ate his full stomach and he fell asleep. He was very happy. The next day he did the same thing again, loaded the bag and left. The donkey did the same and fell into the river again and again. The salt dissolved in the water and the donkey became happy. The merchant wondered how this happened. He thought that this donkey is not doing all this intentionally.

This is a very lazy animal. I care for it so much and it is hurting me. I will take it home and teach him  a lesson. The donkey had come up with a good idea to avoid work. The next morning the merchant loaded 8 bags on the donkey’s back. The donkey did not complain, he thought 8 bags but I do not feel the weight. The donkey thought, what difference does it make when I am about to go to the market.

The merchant quietly took the donkey to the river. The donkey thinks now is the time to show my magic. While crossing the river, the donkey slipped again and sat in the water at the same place as usual. But this time the merchant did not help the donkey at all, as soon as the donkey tried to get up, he started feeling the heavy weight on his back.

The merchant was very intelligent, he knew that the donkey would do the same trick again, so this time instead of salt, he had loaded cotton sacks on the donkey. As the donkey sat down in the water, the cotton absorbed the water and they became heavy. The merchant laughed a lot and said to the donkey, now he has to go to the market like this and also come back home. The donkey understood that there is no magic in the water of the river.

Now he had to take the cotton to the market and bring it back home. Since then the donkey never tried to fall into the water again.
