पूर्वाभास
एक समय की बात है एक रवीना नाम की लड़की थी। उसे अपनी मौत के सपने आते थे। उसके पापा ने सोचा कि रवीना को हॉस्टल भेज देते हैं। रवीना के पापा ने शिमला के हॉस्टल में भेजने की त्यारी शुरू कर दी। उसे छोड़ने गए, वहाँ गेट के अंदर जाते ही धुँध में उसे एक बुड़िया दिखाई दी। उसने कहा कि तुम्हें बहुत जल्द लेने आएँगे, रवीना।
यह सुनकर रवीना घबरा गयी और उसने अपनी आँखें बंद कर दी। वह बुढ़िया एकदम ग़ायब हो गयी और पीछे से एक आवाज़ आयी, रवीना। वह हॉस्टल की वॉर्डन थी, वह रवीना के पास आयी और बोली चलो में तुम्हें तुम्हारा कमरा दिखाती हूँ और चलते- चलते हॉस्टल के क़ायदे समझाने लगी।
उसने बताया कि शाम को 8 बजे तक हॉस्टल गेट बंद हो जाते है और हफ़्ते में एक बार आप दिन भर के लिए बाहर घूमने जा सकते हैं। यह सारी बातें बताते- बताते वह दोनो कमरे तक पहुँच जाते है। वहाँ रवीना को अपनी दो रूम-मेट मिलती हैं, सुमन और कुसुम।
सुमन को देखकर रवीना को लगता है कि उसने उसे कहीं देखा है लेकिन याद नहीं कर पाती है। उसके बाद समय बीतता गया, तीनों अच्छी दोस्त बन गयी। एक रात रवीना को बहुत बुख़ार आया और दौरा भी पड़ा। ऐसा उसके साथ पहले कभी नहीं हुआ था। उस दौरे के बाद रवीना चुपचाप रहने लगी तो कुसुम और सुमन ने सोचा कि मूवी देख कर आते हैं।
शनिवार का दिन था, मूवी से लौटते वक़्त सुमन ने कहा चलो दौड़ लगाए और देखे कौन पहले कमरे में पहुँचता है। उन्होनें दौड़ लगानी शुरू करी तभी रवीना चक्कर खाकर गिर गयी और सुमन- कुसुम आगे चले गए। जब उसे होश आया तो वही बूढ़ी औरत उसके सामने खड़ी थी और हंस के बोली, चलो आज मैं तुम्हें लेकर जाऊँगी अपने साथ में।
वह उसे यह भी बताती है कि वह कुसुम की दादी है। तभी कुसुम रवीना को ढूँढते हुए आयी और रवीना कहती है, मैंने तुम्हारी दादी को देखा। कुसुम घबराकर कहती है, उन्हें मरे हुए 5 साल हो गए हैं। तभी रवीना बेहोश हो जाती है। रवीना का शरीर बुख़ार में तड़प रहा होता है। हॉस्टल की वॉर्डन डॉक्टर को बुलाती है। रवीना को आराम करने के लिए कहा जाता है और डॉक्टर सुबह आने को कहता है।
रवीना रात भर बुख़ार में होती है। अगली सुबह जब डॉक्टर आता है तो रवीना अपने कमरे में नहीं होती है। सब लोग उसे हर जगह ढूँढते हैं लेकिन कही नहीं मिलती। फिर सुमन सामने गार्डन में जाती हैं और डरकर सबको बुलाकर लाती है। सब देख के डर जाते है, वहाँ उन्हें बरगद के पेड़ पर लटकी रवीना की लाश मिलती है। उसकी आँखें उल्टी और चेहरे पर मुस्कान होती है। सच में बुढ़िया उसे लेकर चली गयी।

Usne bataaya ki shaam ke 8 baje tak hostal get band ho jaate hai aur hafte mein ek baar aap din bhar ke lie baahar ghoomane ja sakate hain. Yah saaree baaten bataate- bataate vah dono kamare tak pahunch jaate hai. Vahan raveena ko apanee do room-met milte hain, suman aur kusum.
Suman ko dekhakar raveena ko lagata hai ki usne use kahin dekha hai lekin yaad nahi kar paate hai. Uske baad samay beetata gaya, teenon acche dost ban gayee. Ek raat raveena ko bahut bukhar aaya aur daura bhee pada. Aisa usake saath pahale kabhee nahin hua tha. Us daure ke baad raveena chup chaap rahane lagee to kusum aur suman ne socha ki moovee dekh kar aate hain.
Shanivaar ka din tha, moovee se lautate vaqt suman ne kaha chalo daud lagae aur dekhe kaun pahale kamare mein pahunchta hai. unhonen daud lagaanee shuroo karee tabhee raveena chakkar kha kar gir gayee aur suman- kusum aage chale gae. jab use hosh aaya to vahee boodhee aurat usake saamane khadee thee aur hans ke bolee, chalo aaj main tumhen lekar jaoongee apane saath mein.
Veh use yah bhee bataatee hai ki vah kusum kee daadee hai. tabhee kusum raveena ko dhoondte hue aayi aur raveena kehte hai, maine tumhari dadi ko dekha. Kusum ghabaraakar kahatee hai, unhen mare hue 5 saal ho gae hain. Tabhi raveena behosh ho jaatee hai. Raveena ka shareer bukhaar mein tadap raha hota hai. Hostal kee vordan doktar ko bulati hai. Raveena ko aaraam karane ke liye kaha jata hai aur doctor subah aane ko kahata hai.
Raveena raat bhar bukhaar mein hotee hai. agalee subah jab doktar aata hai to raveena apane kamare mein nahin hotee hai. Sab log use har jagah dhoondhate hain lekin kahee nahin milatee. Phir suman saamane gaardan mein jaatee hain aur darakar sabako bulaakar laatee hai. Sab dekh ke dar jaate hai, vahaan unhen baragad ke ped par latakee raveena kee laash milatee hai. Uski aankhen ultee aur chehre par muskan hotee hai. Sach mein budhiya use lekar chali gayee.

After that tour Raveena started living quietly so Kusum and Suman thought that they should go to watch a movie.
It was Saturday, while returning from the movie Suman said let’s run and see who reaches the room first. When they started running, Raveena fell down after getting dizzy and Suman-Kusum went ahead. When she came to his senses, the same old woman was standing in front of her and laughed and said, come on today I will take you with me.
She also tells her that she is Kusum’s grandmother. Just then Kusum comes looking for Raveena and Raveena says, I saw your grandmother. Kusum panics and says it has been 5 years since she died. Then Raveena faints. Raveena’s body is burning with fever. The hostel warden calls the doctor. Raveena is asked to take rest and the doctor asks her to come in the morning.
Raveena has a fever all night. The next morning when the doctor comes, Raveena is not in her room. Everyone looks for her everywhere but can’t find her anywhere. Then Suman goes to the garden in front and frightens everyone and brings them. Everyone is scared to see, there they find the dead body of Raveena hanging on the banyan tree. Her eyes rotated and a smile on her face. Indeed the old lady took her away.
